My in-home newborn photography sessions in Fort Worth are designed to preserve all of it without asking you to pack a diaper bag, leave the house or make your family perform for the camera. With thoughtful preparation, styling guidance and a calm, baby-led approach, the experience is so easy that it barely feels like a photo session at all. Session Day! You already know exactly what to expect, so your session is a breeze! We spend about ninety minutes together to create images of your family that you dream of.

Now you choose the date that works best for you on my calendar! Once you select your date, you'll pay a session fee, sign your contract, and fill out a questionnaire to help me prepare for your session.

Over the next several weeks, you'll receive curated prep information designed to get you ready for your session. I send it in bite-sized pieces so you're not overwhelmed. And if you have questions, I'm just an email away!

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?

Most families reach out while they are still expecting so we can begin planning around their due date. If your baby has already arrived, please still reach out. If I have availability, we can choose a date that works for your family.

HOW OLD SHOULD MY BABY BE FOR NEWBORN PHOTOS?

My sweet spot to photograph newborns between two and six weeks old - however, there's no rush! A slightly older newborn means baby is more awake, you've had time to recover, and you begin to settle in as a family. We'll talk through timing together to make sure you don't feel rushed.

WHAT IF MY BABY DOESN’T SLEEP DURING THE SESSION?

I actually prefer an awake baby during your session! That means we can get expressions, eyes open, interactions - all the things that aren't possible with a sleeping baby. Your baby does not need to be asleep, but if they want to, that's also fine! My sessions are completely baby-led which means we go with the flow.

WHAT IF MY HOME IS DARK OR DOESN’T FEEL PHOTO READY?

Your home does not need to look like it belongs in a magazine. Before your session, I’ll have you send me photos or videos of your spaces so I can plan around the best available light. I shoot for the light, not the room, and we only need a few small areas to create a beautiful gallery filled with variety.
