If you’re thinking about booking fall family photos in Fort Worth, here’s your friendly reminder that it’s not too early. Fall is hands-down the busiest time of year for family photography. If you’re thinking about family photos this fall (whether you’re hoping for a quick mini session or a full in-home session), now is the time to start planning
Every fall, I hear from families who waited just a little too long to reach out, and by then, I’m already fully booked. So let’s talk about why now’s the best time to get on my calendar (even if it’s still hot outside!).

1. Why Fall is the Busiest Time for Fort Worth Family Photos
Between the cozy outfits, the golden light, and the fact that the holidays are right around the corner, fall is by far the most popular time to schedule family pictures. It’s when most families are thinking ahead to holiday cards, gifts, and updating those frames on the wall.
If you’re hoping for Fort Worth fall family photos this year, booking early gives you first dibs on dates that work best for your schedule.

2. Fall Family Photo Session availability is limited
My calendar is always intentionally limited so every session gets the prep and attention it deserves. And with the increased demand in fall, my calendar tends to book up quickly. While I do offer a small number of mini session dates during the fall, my full family sessions take place in your home and include a much more personalized planning process that clients specifically come to me for…from helping you decide what to wear to choosing the rooms with the best light.

Whether you’re hoping for a mini session or a full in-home family session, booking early gives you the best chance of getting a session before my fall calendar fills.
3. Why In-Home Fall Sessions Take More Planning
One of the reasons I love in-home sessions is because they’re personal and relaxed. Your kids are comfortable, the space is meaningful, and you’re not battling the Texas weather or bugs. But they do take a little prep. I walk my clients through an extensive prep process – its something that I’ve perfected over the years to make sure my clients feel relaxed, comfortable, and excited for their session. Its a big part of my booking process that I don’t want my clients to miss out on. We’ll work together to pick the rooms we’ll shoot in ahead of time, choose outfits that photograph well indoors, and discuss anything special activities they want included in their session.
Booking early gives us time to do all of that without rushing.

4. Plan Ahead for Stress-Free Fort Worth Fall Family Photos
Fall always books up fast. Between school events, sports, and everything else in the fall, finding a date for family photos can get tricky fast. Booking early gives you more options to choose a date that actually works for your family. And it also means you aren’t scrambling to figure out what to wear!
