Whether it’s pumpkin spice or outdoor concerts, this season in Fort Worth brings all the feels. Fall is here, and with it comes some of the best Fort Worth fall activities in 2025…from pumpkin patches and family outings to classic local events like Christmas in Cowtown. Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market
When: October 8 – October 12, 2025
Where: Amon G. Carter Exhibit Halls at Will Rogers Memorial Center
Get ready for over 250 merchants offering everything from home décor to quirky gifts. The Junior League of Fort Worth uses this fundraiser to support local nonprofits investing in arts, education, health, and family services.

Boo at the Zoo
Dates: October 24–26, 2025
Join in for a daytime Halloween event with treat stations, animal encounters, and themed entertainment…all included with Fort Worth Zoo admission or membership. Its a safe, fun way for the whole family to kick off spooky season. More info here.

Pumpkin Patches Galore
Fall is synonymous with pumpkin patches in North Texas! Here are some favorites:

- Fort Worth Stockyards: Besides the timeless cattle drives, this area is jam-packed with Western-themed entertainment like rodeos at Cowtown Coliseum and live music venues. My kids love to see the cattle drive, walk around to all the western stores, and hop over to Melt for dessert!
- Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (January 2026): For a taste of tradition, check out the upcoming livestock show, carnival rides, and live concerts come next winter.
